Standard Ears (Topeared)
Description
The "normal" or regular postion and shape of rat ears. The ears are positioned on the top of the head, behind the eyes. They should be large, round and smooth. They should not have wrinkles, folds, creases, notches or tears in them. They should be pink, though they will be a dark purplish-pink on a black rat and a pale pink on a white rat, with shading in between depending on the body color of the rat. They should be covered with fine hairs which should match the color of the rat's body fur, though it will have a more silvery sheen.
Genetics
Rats without the Dumbo gene will have standard ears.
