Russian Cinnamon (Dove Agouti)

Description

Russian Cinnamon is a rich, bright golden color, with bands of darker and lighter gold along the hair, over a pewter undercoat. It is a very striking and attractive color, easily recognized once it's been seen. There should be no dull or brown tones to the rat, and it should be very distinct from any other Agouti dilute.  Eyes will be dark, ideally black, though the presence of Mink means that other carried dilutes may lighten the eyes.

Genetics

A/- d/d m/m

This is an Agouti rat with a double recessive of both Russian Blue and Mink; a Dove Agouti. Other carried recessives will tend to muddy the colors.
